Our nursery is filling up with many options of our highly recommended varieties, as well as some interesting newbies. We expect to have our new standard roses in by mid-August.
Unfortunately we do not arrange mail out and this is a visual website with no shopping cart functions; a guide to help shoppers find their way through our extensive range.
ABOUT US
Henk and Karen Nieuwesteeg have been growing and selling roses since 1997 at Newstead Rose Nursery. The name ‘Newstead’ came about as a simplification of our surname and because ‘Nieuwesteeg Roses’ was already in existence, being run by family as a wholesale nursery in Coldstream. Henk’s background is in horticulture and is a fifth generation grower ranging over 300 years in growing plants. Because we specialise in one kind of plant family, we have gained a lot of knowledge and experience and are quite happy to share this information with the general public. We are a small business which likes to pay attention to the quality of our product as well as our customer relations.
Our roses have appeared on the 2018/2019 Cadbury chocolate commercial in Mrs Thompson’s garden.
